Mussels are a popular seafood delicacy. They are bivalve sea molluscs, which can be eaten. Mussels have a delicate peculiar taste and have a high nutritional value. Due to its many beneficial properties as a food product, mussel meat stimulates and has a good effect on human health: increases the body's vitality, enhances immunity and improves metabolism. Mussels meat in different forms can be fried or baked, steamed or smoked, and of course added to various fish dishes. The slightly oblong body of the mussel is covered with a symmetric shell of a rounded wedge-shaped form with a dark color.

 

Oysters

Scallops

 

Scallops, although belonging to the family of marine bivalve molluscs, are clearly different from oysters and mussels. Octopuses

In many nations, octopus is a daily product for preparing various dishes. Sushi is prepared from octopus meat, and also consumed in a dried-salty form or in the form of various «sea cocktails».

Octopus - the source of many vitamins. Before cooking octopuses you need to get rid of extraneous odors, mucous membranes and «ink».

Octopuses have a small, soft-to-the-touch, oval, bag-shaped body. The oral opening is located at the junction of the tentacles. The mouth has the similarity to the beak of a parrot with two strong jaws. Head with eight tentacles-arms.

 

Cuttlefish

 

Cuttlefish - a class of cephalopods, an order of molluscs.
